Quercus is a collection of technical components and business logic that will serve as the foundation for growing the usage of AI and developing stable, rapid, and successful solutions for all types of businesses and sectors. It comprises the technical components required to secure data confidentiality and privacy, as well as the capacity to interact with other systems and coordinate many Generative Artificial Intelligence models.
Quercus' development capabilities will allow businesses to shorten the time required to create innovative solutions tailored to their specific demands. The platform's first iteration has already enabled Ferrovial to provide a marketplace of Generative AI solutions, including a common task assistant that can be used by any employee as well as Human Resources and Cybersecurity specialists.
"The journey has only just begun. In cooperation with DXC and with Microsoft's technology, Ferrovial expects to roll this technology out in dozens of cases. Quercus will be very beneficial in optimizing processes, generating designs, simplifying applications for worker health and safety, and, generally, improving its operations," said Dimitris Bountolos, CIIO of Ferrovial, at the signature of the agreement in Madrid. The event was also attended by DXC Technology Global CEO, Raul Fernandez, DXC Technology Europe Market Leader, Juan Parra, and Microsoft Spain President, Alberto Granados.
